RippedAI ("we", "our", or "us") is a fitness application that provides AI-generated workout plans, nutrition logging, progress tracking, and related fitness services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the RippedAI mobile app.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Your name and email address when you register.
• Fitness data: Workout logs, exercise history, personal records, rest timer usage, and workout plan preferences.
• Body and health data: Body measurements, weight, body fat percentage, and progress photos you choose to upload.
• Nutrition data: Meal logs, calorie entries, and macro data you record in the app.
• Goals and preferences: Fitness goals, experience level, equipment availability, and workout frequency settings.
• Billing information: Payment transactions are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details — only subscription status and renewal dates.
• Device and usage data: App version, platform (iOS/Android), and general usage patterns to diagnose issues and improve the service.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To generate personalized AI workout plans based on your profile and goals.
• To display your progress, streaks, achievements, and muscle recovery data.
• To send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, subscription receipts).
• To process subscription payments via Stripe.
• To respond to support requests you send us.
• To improve the app through aggregated, anonymized usage analytics.

4. Third-Party Services

We share limited data with the following trusted third parties to operate the service:

• Stripe: For processing subscription payments. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant. Their privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
• OpenAI: Workout plan generation uses OpenAI's API. Your fitness profile data (goals, fitness level, equipment) is sent to generate plans. No personally identifiable information (name, email) is sent. OpenAI's privacy policy is at openai.com/privacy.
• AgentMail: For sending transactional emails (verification, password resets). Only your email address is shared for this purpose.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We do not use advertising networks or behavioral trackers.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records for legal or billing compliance purposes.

6. Your Rights

• Access: You can view your data in the app at any time.
• Correction: You can update your profile and goals in the app settings.
• Deletion: You can request account deletion by contacting us at rippedaiv1@gmail.com.
• Data export: To request a copy of your data, contact us at the email above.

7. Security

We protect your data using industry-standard security measures including encrypted HTTPS connections, hashed passwords (bcrypt), and token-based authentication. We do not store plaintext passwords.

8. Children's Privacy

RippedAI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
